purchased 3.8L engine online summer 2005. Engine rec'd no spark plugs. Engine shop installed, could not turn engine more than 100 degrees. to hook up flywheel to torque converter. After explaining this to "Shaun" he repeatedly told me it was compression 3 times. Well hello, On the third time I said there is no f...ing spark plugs installed in the engine. He claims I cussed at him. FBAA intervention, he finally accepted engine for refund. Rec'd returned engine Oct. 4/05. No refund. Threat of legal action and reply was that I had just refused engine so refund would be less 25% and shipping costs. Now Sept. 4/ 06. Still no refund rec'd.

I have a similar experience with mid city auto salvage. Wrong engine for my car was sent. My mechanic has already taken my car apart. I contacted FBAA today and they said they would contact company but I think they are out of business. 800 & fax #'s have been disconnected and web site is down. Very expensive lesson for me and now the mechanic wants to get paid.
