I took my car, a DodgeVan,in for repair to Future Tire.The car was leaking transmission fluid. I brought it in Friday June 15. He said to call him on Saturday June 16. When I called him from work, he said he could not look at it until Mon. June 18. I called them on Monday and they informed me that it could run $400 plus but as a favor they would ask their SPECIALIST to look at it first. I called back on Thursday June 21. They informed me that it would cost $1200 to repair. I informed them that it was not a good investment.I told them that I would be buying a replacement car and using the van as a trade.
They asked me when I would have it towed. I informed them that it would take me until Saturday July 7.I HIM on Saturday June 30 & told HIM that I would have the car towed by Saturday July 7.
On the Sunday July 1, I stopped by Future and took the two spare tires out of the car and the battery jumper cables. I still had a few things in the van, which I had intended to get out of the van later & have the van towed to my dealer. When I did not see the car on the lot.
He informed me that he had the car towed to a junkyard that day.
When I got to the junkyard, I was informed that he had taken off the tires (4 news ones). The plates were still on the van when it was towed. I went back to the junkyard but they were closing;went back Saturday July 7 and had the plates taken off the van.
The junkyard had the van crushed later that day.
He had supplied a sheet saying the vehicle was abandoned for over 30 days.
I was informed by the junkyard that this was not he first time this has happened.
The car would have worth $1000 as a trade toward the new car.
By the way, Future wants $220 for the estimate.
P.S. He will not give me back the tires.
He laughed at me when I asked for them back and complained.

Since I do not have a trade, I want compensation and other relief.
I would settle for inkind and pain and suffering relief.
