I took my Chrysler Voyager to Carrs of Exeter, a Chrysler dealership in Exeter Devon at the beginning of the year. I am disabled and need my car. I informed them that the car was subject to a recall and they denied this totally. They believe that obviously found out there was a recall and offered to do it for me. They took four months to do the work on my car because they claim apart was one back order. After I put pressure on them using the media, they finish my car. They then tried to charge me for parts that we covered under the recall. They would not release my car until I paid. I paid under duress and then took legal action to claim back the money that I should not have paid. I then publish a web page describing my experiences. I was very careful not to include any libellous, malicious or threatening content. I have had the page checked by legal experts and it is perfectly okay. Helston garages Cornwall who own Carrs of Exeter were obviously not happy about what I had done and have managed to persuade my Internet service provider to force me to withdraw the page. They brought this all on themselves by being totally incompetent and then trying to charge me thousands of pounds for work that clearly was part of a recall. They should have known this. Why is it a man in a wheelchair had to tell them. And now, they are trying to silence me by approaching my Internet service provider. They cannot do any other way because my page is totally legal. They are shameful despicable company who need to be shamed in public. The webpages are all back online now. I would urge anybody reading this to go and visit them and read for yourself what happened to me and how these garages treat the little people.
