I have always received emails from Survey Scout.! I live in NZ and the surveys did not work out for me I will admit, BUT, when I asked for a refund, very politely, not aggressively, they sent it to PayPal, and it is now in my NZ Bank A/C! Its not all bad! quote: Originally posted by roses4metoday: Survey Scout is NO good! They will not even answer your email. Avoid! Do noy pay them noney for info that is free elsewhere.

A word to the wise. I just got my refund from ClickBank because of what happened to me with Survey Scout. Within three days of registering and answering surveys, which I did not get paid for just entered in sweepstakes I was swamped with unsolicted e mails and telemarketing calls and I am on the do not call list. These companies are a front for getting your info and then trying to suck you in. Thankfully I have my money back. Are these companies legit? If you have to pay them to get to a database be wary. If you locate companies on your own by doing web searches check them out throughly before giving any personal information. I will spend the next two weeks unsubscribing to e mails I didn't request and shutting down telemarketing calls I have not gotten in years. Remember the old saying." It it sounds to good to be true it probably is.IP: Logged |

Just one side note. If you are looking at yellowsurveys.com please be aware that many of the same companies listed on this web site were listed on Survey Scouts, just because its free doesn't mean that you won't have problems with them. It just makes it easier for them to get your information. Don't let your guard down. If someone does actually find a company that pays let the rest of us know.IP: Logged |

I joined Survey Scout, My chief complaint is the free roboform that virtually takes over your computer that they offer. After reading a Google report announcing the top 10 free survey sites, I joined the first one for free on the list, named VivaResearch. They are a scam! They allegedly had 20 paid surveys. I made 300.00 supposedly. When I inquired when I would get paid, the company disapeared off the net. They got all of my info, from my social security number, to my credit cards info. I had to cancil them all. What a scam!!! I have not recieved one offer for money yet, not even a dollar. I joined 10 survey compinies. I am now going to regester from the bottom of the list up. New compainies start at the bottm of the list. I am speculating they might need my business and really pay me!!!

Sorry for what I said above about VivaResearch above. I just found them on the net. Perhaps they are real. But the 300.00 I earned taking their dozen or so surveys is still pending they say. Pending on what I wonder ^_^! But why would some of their surveys ask me for my social security number and credit card info? I would be careful of that site!IP: Logged |

I am back. ^_^. I am sure that VivaResearch is a scam. They don't have a working email and they have no contact phone number. No fax either. They say my survey pay will take up to 6 weeks to be approved. Lol. That gives them more time to scam many people and get their personal information to steal.IP: Logged |

I started this two days ago and what a BIGGGG mistake. Let's see, I read that this was the best one on the internet, that others are bogus and the first 20 are the best, bull crap. I have had great offers, just send them money, wait, wasn't I suppose to be making money??? I would love to find a legitamate way to work at home, using the internet, but this was not it. Now I get to endure the phone calls and such, but to be honest, I would like to try the three days of herbalife, for free, but it is 12.95 for shipping. Wish I had seen this before, shame on me for not knowing to look past the apparently bogus study of the survey sites. IP: Logged |

I use scouts survey and yes there are alot of places you can get survey with but none dont pay what was told. I do surveys every day just for the fun if it now because I dont think they pay much at all. Some give points and you have to just build them up others give you 2 or 3 dollars. I really dont think its worth your time if u want to make some good money from them. But to do something if ur board or not bussy its ok. So dont believe all those lies they say about u can make alot of money its just not true and dont pay no money to join like I did its just a wast of ur money, there are so many sight you can find that u dont have to money for. Maybe some of these people are disabled and are forced to stay at home or something like that or maybe they are just retired.Your not a shrink.... say it ain't so. Cuz every shrink I know has heart enough to shut the fuck up and listen, then decide when verbally expressing what they think not to YELL it at the person or people they THINK has a problem. If your going to school to be a shrink I hope you make a goddamn C next semester cuz you know and I know, you gotta be a straight A student. Just even a B will be the end for ya. ha ha ha And you have the nerve while you yell on this board to say we have a problem???? Jesus! Maybe someone will come and pay attention to you and you'll take a shower. I wasn't yelling at the general public--just ignorant pieces of crap like you who think everything is easy in this world. Guess what? I don't care if you are stirring up potions to curse me and give me a dreaded C, b/c all I have to do is diagnose you as Boderline Personality or Schizo and say you are a danger to yourself. I read several will pay will pay real money in this complaints list by a few. This is not true. Not one company will pay anybody real money ever. I let my email run for months after signing up. I got not one real offer for even 1 dollar for a paid survey. Not one penny. As long as they can convince suckers they might get a paid survery they will continue to write on here to save their bad name. I swear to God after signing up for the top 300 cash paying only companies I got not one real offer. I do get 400 to 700 emails a day now. I look at a few but delete the rest. You will get every scam there is from trying paid surveys. Name just 3 real businesses that will pay you money continuously and I will pay you for my survey!!! Just like the survey companies pay ^_^. There is a real one from Ebay. But I never got paid for it. It's a one time shot though. Surveys are a scam!!!IP: Logged |

Dear Redflagscam. Below are the questions you asked. I will answer them in order. ^_^ 1. I tried them. No but they are worthwhile if you want to take all surveys for free and help rich companies. 2. There are no good sites in this industry. They are all a scam 100%. The federal Gov is closing them down. Guess who reported them. ^_^. 3. Not viable at all. You have no chance of making even a dollar!!! 4. The more companies you regester with the more spam mail and scams you will recieve! 5. Nope as in question 4. NO! 6. Yes, they try for any private info they can get and I promise you will be bomb barded with emails and phone calls selling you everything under the sun! 7. No tips on that other than don't waste your time as thousands of people have. They will all be closed down in time for scamming the public. I suppose the 3rd world countries will allow them to operate. Now, I hope that answers your 7 questions that you asked below Mr. RedFlagScam. I am always happy to help a fellow internet user Sir.This was your post RedFlagScam. some questions about the above: 1. who has tried survey scout...has anyone found it totally worthwhile? 2. what other sites in this indusrty are good? 3. how viable is this as a supplemental means on income? 4. would it be worthwhile registering with a bunch of these companies, or do you soon get swamped? 5. that said, given the demand for surveys from reliable companies that pay a lot in cash, wouldn't it be best to have the most possible information, i.e. largest database? 6. any privacy concerns? 7. any tips on how to do this quickly/efficiently? cheers IP: Logged |

You guys want a get rich scheme I got one. Works like a chain letter, but is actually a multi level marketing program. The only differance with this mlm is that "each" person makes the same as everyone else You work for an actual co selling a product and collecting a commission.. If you contact the Better Business Bureau in your area they will try to help you resolve your problem. Also they provide online tips for preventing this kind of thing. It doesn't do yourself any good to put yourself down for falling prey to these kind of scams, it happens to more people than you would believe possible. If you learned a lesson from this scamming event, then it wasn't a total loss. Some people have been scammed out of their life savings. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I totally agree this is the biggest rip-off I've ever seen. I paid their fees and did not make a single penny. I called them within the 90 day period and told them I was not satisfied and they said my email(AOL) did not work right. Just be patient, well it's been about 7 months and I still have not made a penny. DO NOT USE THIS WEB SITE, THEY DO NOT KEEP THEIR WORD. RIP-OFF IS WHAT IT IS.

Hello. I wanted to agree with the majority that Survey Scout is a complete waste of time. The only thing good I got out of it was the software program ( Roboform ). Getting my money back, however, was not that hard since I had a money back guarrantee. Not only are surveys hard, but, in my case I usually didn't qualify for most of them. And all the free prize offers were the biggest headache. I could actually win nice things (which didn't work by the way), but I had to subsribe to all these other offers, and there were a long list of rules that had to be abided by or else I didn't get the prize. Thank god I'm out of that. Oh yeah, and because of Survey Scout, I have hundreds of spam messages each and every stinken day. Don't do it, trust me!!!!IP: Logged |

Ok, After reading all these complaints, I've pretty much confirmed to myself what I had suspected all along. That being the 100% FACT that there is not one single solitary *legitimate* payed survey site in the entire universe! Thanx for saving me the time and money! But my serious beef NOW is with the FBI, FTC, BBB, and other "consumer alert" type web sites. They all tell you what to "Watch out for" and all the "Red flags" that give away the fact that the sites are probably frauds. My beef is with the word: "Probably". There IS NO: "Probably" when it comes to whether a survey site is a scam or not. There IS NO "NOT" here. They're ALL SCAMS. The FBI, FTC, BBB, and other watchdog type consumer sites lead people (falsely) to believe that there are at least *some* legitimate sites out there if you can weed out the scams. But they're ALL SCAMS! Why don't those consumer alert sites just save people time and MONEY and just flat out tell the TRUTH. They could give readers all the information they need in ONE LINE OF TEXT instead boring you to death with page after page of information you don't really need. In fact, they could sum it all up in 2 words: *DON'T BOTHER!* These watchdog and U.S. GOV. sites are misleading the people by listing the bad, when all they have to do is tell folks that there is NO GOOD. It's a totally ONE sided equation when it comes to survey sites. they're ALL CROOKS, every last one of them. And no.....I'm NOT a liberal. In fact, if I were I'd probably be defending these scam sites right to free speech. Even though that speech is milking innocent Americans of their hard earned money. Peace, Mark IP: Logged |

There are many *legitimate* survey panels out there.Right now, the more popular survey panel to join is NFO My Survey. Find out why. NFO Link Think about this...if paid surveys were ALL a scam, wouldn't you hear more bad press? I saw a nice big red sticker on a Jack-In-The-Box wrapper the other day, it read something like... "Make money and join Jack's survey panel..." And that's a huge fast food chain. Finding the right panels online is easy if you know where to look. - iworkathome [This message has been edited by iworkathome (edited 02-07-2006).] IP: Logged |

If you've joined a Survey program that you feel is a rip-off and paid thru ClickBank then demand your refund from CLICKBANK (you can explain why) and not the actual company (who will rarely if ever offer a refund). You will get your sign-up fee back if you are within the refund period (but not any other money you've sent the crooks) and if enough people do that and scream 'Scam!' the program will, eventually, be removed from Clickbank's database. Most people don't do the above and consequently lose out. I don't know about similar programs like Clickbank - I'm sure they are many - but hopefully they, as the payment processors, will come thru with a refund like Clickbank do. IP: Logged |

Thank You!!!! I just wanted to say thank you to all the people who wrote in and saved me from making a BIG mistake and trying Survey Scout, it's as I suspected if it sounds to good to be true it is. I agree with MarkHead in CT why aren't agencies such as the FTC, FBI, BBB doing anything I remember now they are to busy watching out for us and I am also not a liberal but why the hell can any 10th grader in this country figure out there all scams but not or top watch dogs? Well thanks again. Best of luck to anyone who is still trying to get their money back. One place you may try is your local DA's office many times they will have a department that deals with small fraud cases. Peace out!IP: Logged |

The same survey lists are available in other places for free so don't bother paying the money to join. You just need to know where to look to find them. One place that has a good list is Survey Rover (that doesn't even ask for an email address), but there are plenty of other free online survey sites around.

I agree with others in saying there is no need to PAY for information you can get FREE online. Survey Scout provides the services of organizing hundreds of research companies into a sort of "one-stop-shop." Now, for some, that is a valuable service, worth the $35 investment. But, in the end, there are only a handful of companies within the 600 or so out there who give you the best shot of earning cash. A common misconception about paid surveys is that people think they will register with a company like Survey Scout and then given a database of hundreds of surveys paying $10-$100 to complete. It just doesn't work that way. However, there ARE WAYS to make money with surveys. Once you register with the top FREE research companies, they will initially send you what's called a screener survey to see 1) if you will actually participate in surveys they send, but 2) it gives them a chance to get to know more about you as their member. Once you complete these "screener" surveys, and given a little time, you can start to get invitations for online surveys, focus groups, phone interviews, etc that either pay cash or payment in other forms (prizes, gift cards, etc) It can take a little time, but in the end, by registering with the TOP companies in the industry, you increase your chances of receiving the highest paying cash surveys. Check out www.onlinejobsreview.com/surveys.html for the top 12 FREE survey companies! IP: Logged |

I have to agree with you and it is the same here in Canada. According to the RCMP, law enforcements, all these companies which are scams, somehow have managed to cover themselves by either writing somewhere in small prints information which protects them usually info the consumers don't not see or bother reading as the print is so small and so long and in a lot of cases, information which might be on the web site one day is not there the next, therefore, by the time consumers make a complaint, the information is no longer available for proof, like the web sites who disappear over night. There is so much fraud that it is impossible for the RCMP, FBI to look into every cases. Looks like you have to be the bad guy to make money and scam others. I wonder if these people sleep at night? "If too good to be true, usually it is". Pauline quote: Originally posted by MarkHead: Ok, After reading all these complaints, I've pretty much confirmed to myself what I had suspected all along. I'm a member of a survey site and have actually made money... but over a long period of time! Over a year I have been paid just over $50 for taking a few online surveys a month... they have usually paid between $1 and $5. The money was paid directly into my account. I have also made about $250 from being contacted for product testing after filling in surveys. However, the last one I did I had an allergic reaction to the toothpaste provided... but... they sent me a cheque for my medical costs and $150 worth of free products! Overall I have found it to be a fun way to get a few extra dollars... the best one I had was cigarette testing! Getting paid $50 to smoke free ciggies and give my opinion. Once, I filled in a survey and was contacted to join a focus group... but when i turned up I found out that they were only interested in people who had children (when i have never said that have... they even go over the criteria on the phone to double check) I was disapointed to miss out on the $60... but when i called the company to say that i turned up and was rejected, they sent me a cheque for the $60 anyway!I've been going through http://www.pureprofile.com.au/ but I guess it's only relevant to Australians... sorry the rest of you guys!

I noticed a lot of complaints about surveys in general and survey scout in particular. I have a small website which list reviews of several sites that have free registration and are known by me to be legitimate.I also recommend survey scout on the site. Some people like it, some don't. It depends on how survey companies asses your profile. Personally, I don't really like sites that only enter you in a sweepstakes (probably because I have never won). I have been paid by some sites (by check) for answering surveys. I corresponded with survey scout before writing a review about them. They have 4 full time employees just to anser emails. I noticed that someone who has an AOL account was not receiving answers from survey scout. AOL has very picky spam filters. If you do surveys, I recommend signing up for gmail (google) or yahoo mail. You probably would want a separate account anyway in case you happen to sign up for a site that bombards you with spam. Or "special offers" To get a refund from survey scout (or any other site listed with clickbank) you can contact clickbank directly (within an 8 week period) and THEY will issue the refund. You will see on my site I have rated the free sites, based on several factors. I also have a link to roboform. http://paidsurveyreviews.4cny.com There is an email listed on the site where you can contact me if you have any feedback. If there's anything I can do to help, just ask. Just no spam.

So I send them an email, and requested my money back, and honest = honest, they did! They give you an link, after you asked your money back ( within certain days of time though!) Here are some good paid surveys tips:Use a free software program to automate filling out forms. These programs are great for signing up with multiple paid survey companies quickly. Many forms can be filled with one 'click', saving lots of time and typing. One of the most popular is RoboForm. Setup a separate email address. This should be used only for your survey business. You will be receiving a large number of paid survey opportunities daily, and it will be much easier if they're separated from your 'regular' email. Accidently deleting a $25 survey might not make you angry .. deleting a $75 one probably will. Keep records of your paychecks. Depending upon the law in your area, you will probably be considered an independent consultant for tax purposes. This means the IRS will be expecting you to pay taxes on your paid survey income. Keep a log of all your paychecks in case you have to pay taxes on it. All expenses associated with your paid survey business are normally tax deductible, including any subscription fees. Please check with a tax consultant for the laws in your area. Initially, accept every online paid survey opportunity. The idea here is to establish yourself as a reliable survey worker. Established, proven survey takers get more of the higher-dollar surveys. Once you have a track record and are getting the number of high dollar surveys you desire, then you can 'pick and choose' which surveys to answer.

Besides what Johhny mentioned in the tips I would like to add to it: It IS important to take EVERY survey that is sent. The initial survey you recieve is a SCREENER and will probably only offer to enter you into a contest. If you don't take those screeners you can't make it into the studies. I have been taking surveys for about two years and made a little over $400 last month for just a little bit of time. You will NOT make hundreds of dollars a day like some sites promise. Get a good list of survey companies to sign up with, www.katieshugs.com has a very good list. If you are using a different list and find yourself being asked to complete offers or asked for money, you are not signing up with a legitimate survey company and that is your que to run.IP: Logged |

I also fell for the survey scout scams, but the free survey sites are even worse! All they want is your personal information and WHAM! they hit you with hundres of spam emails every day trying to sell their crap!I got really discouraged and upset because I really wanted to be able to help supplement our income while still taking care of our 2 daughters and not having to put them in day care. Then I stumbled on this data entry program and I can tell you that I have never been happier! They call it data entry, but it's not about typing letters or filling out forms, it's really about internet marketing and how to TRULY succeed working from home and building a real source of income. If you have a minute and want to read about it, you can go here http://www.natdir.com/my2girls I wish you all the best of luck and much success. Remember, if you give up, it CAN'T get better. Yeah most online survey sites are a scam. Here's a big tipoff. If they ask you to pay money (NO MATTER HOW GOOD IT SOUNDS) there's most likely a 99.9999 % chance that it's a scam. Survey Platinum is another BAD SCAM SITE. I payed like 35 dollars. Useless. Most of the links they had were outdated or easily findable doing a google search.A good idea would be to do a yahoo search of the company like ie. "survey platinum scams" and see what pops up. I wish I had done that, It would have saved me a lot of trouble. After searching and searching I did manage to find two companies which were ledgit. http://www.Mysurvey.com : gives you points for completing surveys which you can redeem for cash. $10 at a time. With this site it takes a while to make 10,000 points to add up to $10 but I took 1 or 2 surveys a day when they were available and a few weeks later suddenly realized I had $10. Which was nice. Not like $100 an hour which other companies claim. Also it costs no money to sign up. Another site is http://www.treasuretrooper.com/137534 I have been a member of this site for 2 weeks and I currently have Total Amount Due: 46.65 They pay you to sign up for free newsletters, surveys, etc... everything from 40 cents to $1.00 (these are for signing up with survey companies and partially comleting those sites where they offer you TVs and $350 gift cards for completing 3 "incentive offers". You don't have to complete the incentive offers though to get credited for the money) to $5.00 to $50.00.(the higher payed offers do require credit cards, although gift card visa and mastercards are acceptedd. These higher offers are for signing up for companies like, Blockbuster for a 2 week trial, you can cancel before that time and not get charged but still receive your money) After each offer that you complete, you have the opportunity to win a virtual 'pearl...' If you collect 8 you get 2 free referrals Referrals earn you 20% in addition to what they earn... so if they make $100, they get $100 and you get $20 on top of that. The pearls and gems make the site a lot of fun. And the forums help with info and such (make sure to read the forum) There are also many cash contests on the forums, and every month or so there is a 'Treasure Hunt' on the forums where you can win prizes. It also does not cost any money to sign up to this site. I highly recommend this site for the amount of effort you have to put in.

thank you for creating this thread. i've done a lot of research on these work at home and miscellaneous sites. i've come to the conclusion this is just not worth it. the most legitimate sites i found only pay $1-$5 hardly worth the time it takes.some say they are free, yeah. to join, but then they ask for you to buy things later in order to get "credits". what a joke.

I just want to tell you that I signed up for this, it is not as simple as they make it look and to really succeed, you need to invest a whole lot more than the 49.99 that they require, you get charged for everything, per click.... You have to put yourself in Google and people click on your ad to get you to write their ads or some such thing, after 2 hours trying to figure it out, i sent for a refund, and that was one week ago - no word from them yet..... so be careful --- in my opinion a real scam! quote: Originally posted by OnlineJobsReview.com: Type-At-Home.comOver 20,000 Satisfied Members!

Don't bother about surveyscout. It is just a loss of money Only 30 to 40 survey sites are really worth joining. You can get info about them at free sites like http://www.paidsurveyworld.net IP: Logged |

Well, I happened to be looking through my local newspaper online this morning and came across an add that said something like get paid $300.00 an hour to do surveys? Turns out is was Survey Scout. I am very wary of these seem like to good to be true sites, because they usually are. I have spent several years trying to find a legitimate way to make money using my computer since I don't have a full time job and have been looking for something that I could use to supplement our income when my husband retires and he has 37 years with the company he is with....a major Telephone Co., but we have not yet been able to see where he can retire and we can live on his retirement. I am glad that I found this board and got some honest answers about Survey Scout. I have been with an online company since June that IS legitimate. You can check this one out online anywhere and you will not find anything negative about it, period. I have the utmost respect for these christian minded men who run this company. In fact they are having a meeting in Atlanta on the 14th of September and both the owners will be there. I went to a meeting in Atlanta about a month ago and met one of them, but I plan to go back to this one, because they are offering one on one 30 minute sessions with either one or both of them to anyone who is interested in building their business. While this is not a get rich quick business and does require some work on your part, within a couple of years you can be making a nice income with them and even sooner if you'd like...it depends on how hard you are willing to work. I made my initial investment.. plus.. back in about 30 days. Their program is awesome and there are 3 ways to sign up. It is a managed internet security company called Invisus(latin for invisable)and there is a great need for the services that they offer...MANAGED internet security. It is obvious that since we have so much idenity theft, scamming and computer take overs by hackers that the commercial grade protection people are using and feeling comfortable with does not work...if it did, could there possibly be so much of this going on online? Here is a link to my website which is furnished by the company. There is a red button there that you can click on to test your computer for spyware. Run the test...you have nothing to lose by doing so and at least you will know if your anti-virus/spyware/firewall is working to keep you safe online. You won't be able to remove the spyware unless you subscribe to the service, but you are not obligating yourself to anything by running it. If your computer looks good then that's great...just keep using what you have. If you don't see an opportunity to make some serious money with Invisus, then don't do anything, but if you are the least bit interested, email me by clicking on my email at the top of the page and I will go into more detail...and yes...that is my picture on the page. Here is the link... www.StopHackers.net Good luck to everyone out there hoping to find a way to make money from home and thanks for the truth about survey scout! PatriciaIP: Logged |

If you're interested in learning more about my company and all the benefits of it, it might be better to email me at psc143@yahoo.com. I just tried to send myself an email from my site and it didn't work and that is probably because my ISP is a locally owned telephone Co...can you imagine? I live in a hick town with a privately owned telephone co and my husband works for Bell...we can't even use their services from here...SHEESH!!!!Patricia IP: Logged |

I'm 18 an year old guy, still living at home, looking to make money online, and i've got a list of about 30 paid survey sites that i'm registered for. When I find out which sites will actually pay, i'll write down the stats and get them on a website or something but anyway, do you guys know any other ways to make money online? After doing a couple jobs I hated, I just thought about it and decided I should do something I actually like and i'm good at, so now i'm looking online. Along with the paid surveys, some of these sites pay for trials, reading emails, and to test products. Some trial offers are great, who doesn't want to make $20 bucks for getting a movie from blockbuster and cancelling before it actually starts billing you. I haven't had to test anything yet, and hopefully I won't get something stupid like bubble gum and ends up giving me herpes haha, but anyway if anyone knows any typing jobs or any other ways to make cash online please post. Hey I just stumbled upon this site while trying to visit the SurveyScout site that I joined about a year ago. What a SCAM!!!! I forget how much I paid to join that site but it is crap! I think I did make 3 bucks fron your 2cents surveys. These so called surveys are just a way for people to gain access to your information or you get the ones where they want you to try thier free offers. Then you have to click through about 100 pages of free offers. Is there really any honest way to make money online???? I am not talking about a get rich quick scheme or investing in real estate or oil futures. I'm talking about supplemental income you can make from the comfort of your home. There probably is but you have to weed through all of the internet scum first. IP: Logged |

Survey Scout gets all kinds of complaints on http://Ripoffreport.com. They may have been good a few years ago, but now they have a horrible reputation. Recently, however, I found a survey company called Maximum Paid Surveys which I can actually recommend. What I did was a little test just to see if I could find an honest paid survey company. My "test" simply involved writing 7 different paid surveys databases to see how I would go about getting a refund from their product. Only two out of the seven paid surveys companies responded. One of the companies was Maximum Paid Surveys, which does not appear on the Ripoffreport! Here is an exerpt of what Sam Parker of Maximum Paid Surveys wrote after I informed him that he passed my test: "I really appreciate your care for your visitors. You have an ethical approach and it matches 100% the way I do and I want to do business. You are right. Most survey sites have dirty practices: No customer service, no refund, poor website design, broken links, links to fake survey companies etc. We have set up Maximum Paid Surveys to be the most professional resource for both paid surveys and mystery shopping jobs." Hats off to Sam Parker and Maximum Paid Surveys! ------------------ http://GetagripMarketing.com

So I have tried a ton of these and the only good one I can find is called FusionCash. It's completely free to register and you can take free survey's for like $1-5 dollars each. You can also sign up for free trials of companies for $20-50 each and then cancel the membership before anything is billed. For all the skeptics out there (and I dont blame you) you can do this whole thing without ever using a credit card but you will not make a whole lot of dough from the surverys. Heres my personal link to the site, if you guys could use it that would be great: http://www.fusioncash.net/?ref=jmsaloukas I hope FusionCash works out for everyone and good luck! IP: Logged |

I came on here because I've been earning a very small amount of money doing surveys online and wondered whether Survey Scout was worth it. Evidently not. BUT, some free sites are genuine. I've only made about £30 in the last six months, but that's something, right? I got £5 for testing a large chocolate bar (and they checked my favourite flavour first)! My favourite is Lightspeed, but I have also made money from Valued Opinions, American Consumer Opinions and Surveys.com. IP: Logged |

Hi everyone. I'm kinda new to this survey stuff but I am already keen enough to tell the scams from the "good guys".. I mean legitimate survey sites. One of the best way to tell whether it is a scam, is just to weigh the tone of its content. If the content is too pushy for you to join the site, and they need you to pay for membership?, ....there you go. Just click on the red button on the top right corner coz you just stepped on an internet landmine... That is a scam ...! I first joined several such sites like surveyscout, platinumsurveys, highestpaysurveys and the list continues, but non of them had anything different other than a meer list of outdated sites.. I then joined paidsurveysworld.com and I wanna see what it has, coz this one is free. Leme watch and I will post here my opinion about it. The url is http://www.paidsurveysworld.com IP: Logged |

About a week ago me and my kid went to home depot and we were looking around at the kitchen cabinets. I turned around for 3 seconds to look at a cabinet and when I turned back around I saw a cabinet opening up and swallowing my little girl. I ran over to the cabinet and started beating it unmercifully. Little did I know that this was one tough cabinet! I kicked and punched until my hands were bleeding. About 2 minutes into this process a manager came over and asked me what the problem was. I told him that the cabinet ate my kid. All he did was mumble something and then he farted and walked off. Now I am dealing with the cabinet and a really horrible stench. I finally snapped out of it and reached for my cell phone to call 911. After about 5 minutes an ambulance arrived with the jaws of life to get her out. This was one long process. They finally pried her out after 30 minutes of fighting. I'm glad to say that she is ok. She is just a little traumatized. The other day I got a court summons to appear for replacing the cabinet! The moral to this story is: never take your kid to home depot. Especially not in the kitchen dept.IP: Logged |

If anyone needs to get their money back from Survey Scout, use the link below:https://www.clickbank.com/csinquiry.html Please note, however, that it has to be within 8 weeks of the original purchase (although it might be 6 weeks) - sorry if it has been longer than that for you. ------------------ http://GetagripMarketing.com [This message has been edited by Getagrip (edited 04-30-2007).] IP: Logged |

Surveyscout still manages to fool people. They and their clones like paidsurveysonline and surveyplatinum takes your money for information that you can get free. Visit http://www.survey-scout.com and find out the best paid surveys for freeIP: Logged |

Two things:First of all, I would be extremely careful about joining the survey sites from the "free" website mentioned in the previous post. I once found a similar "free" survey site, and started getting spam emails within about a month. In fact, I was getting so many that I had to get a new email account! If you do decide to sign up for them, please make sure to use a seperate yahoo or hotmail account specifically for paid surveys. Second, the person who said my website is a marketing site is correct. However, the same person said my site was a "Marketing BS Site". Please note that I have TWO sections on my website which show you how to AVOID getting scammed (see "Scams To Avoid" at the top menu and "How To Spot Internet Scams" on the side menu). I know that there is a lot of rip offs out there, and I understand if people are "leary" of my website, but please don't make any false accusations based on your suspicions - I do make an effort to warn people of scams, and one of the scams that I tell people to AVOID is paid surveys. ------------------ http://GetagripMarketing.com [This message has been edited by Getagrip (edited 04-30-2007).] IP: Logged |

I updated my website to do a pre-launch for my new ebook, which requires a new format. I have posted the two articles about how to avoid internet scams in the consumer section of this forum. Just thought I'd mention that in case anyone visits my website and wonders where the articles I was referring to went. ------------------ http://GetagripMarketing.com [This message has been edited by Getagrip (edited 04-30-2007).] IP: Logged |

Survey Scout Sucks butt! they screwed me so bad... after I paid for a membership, they tried selling me more ripoff junk when I logged into their site. I got a refund back a week later after I stumble across a free paid survey site called SurveyQs, which had the same paid survey list as SurveyScout... except SurveyQs has a much better site and their free list is well organized and don't contain all the unnecessary junk the link to their site is : http://surveyqs.com I got my refund back from SurveyScout.com by emailing ClickBank at refunds@clickbank.com with my receipt. Hey thanks so much for the info on survey scout; it really helped me stay away from registering.I know that most surveys don't work, but I found a way to make money, but I will warn you that it takes some effort. Hey Everyone...I have been scammed so many times by things like this...and I finally have found a way to actually make money online...it isn't though surveys, but it is still fairly simple--and it ISN'T a scam. I posted a link to the website that has helped me out a ton. Good Luck MBELL IP: Logged |

Up in the middle, one guy posted about Fusioncash.com, about liking it so much. All I have to say is: I read his post and ignored it. Several days ago, I reread it and signed up for Fusioncash.com (despite being scammed by surveyscout, etc.). Holy crap, why I waited this long I have no idea. It seriously works like no other site. Here is the link for you guys, best of luck: http://www.fusioncash.net/?ref=thrilspilsbils IP: Logged |

This should end this conversation. I have a membership to Survey Scout and made a video showing exactly what you get when you join. It's a total waste. Here's a link to the video on youtube. If you have YouTube accounts please rate the video and leave comments. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHOFHFczlCY ------------------ Top 20 Paid Survey Panels Free directory of over 500 paid surveys IP: Logged |

I second everyone's comment about Survey Scout. Don't fall for this money and time wasting scam. However there are two FREE SURVEY SITES that have most of the same surveys and actually pay REAL money. No bull. I am a personal member and have absolutely no complaints. Take my word for it.
