I had talk.com for long distance for over a year. when i moved and disconnected my phone with bell south - talk.com decided they would start charging me for local service on a phone that no longer has service and is no longer mine! i moved in dec, in jan i got my first bill, i didnt realize until they billed me again in feb that they were billing me for local service not to mention for a number that was no longer mine and if you called the number the recording says "this number is no longer in service".

it took me 2 months to get a refund for the months of jan, feb and march 2001 that they charged me for. less than a week after i received my refund - they charged my acct for april service - on the SAME NUMBER that i do not HAVE and is STILL disconnected. since that on 4/09/01 i have called 5 times - still no refund and guess what! i just got charged again for may.

i do not want to be a customer of talk.com for life and i'm worried that's what happened! i sold my soul to the devil for 5 cents a minute. oh btw - since i moved in december they havent been my long distance carrier either - i should count myself lucky that they arent charging me service for long distance calls that were never made on a phone that has no service!

today i filed a complaint with the better business bureau - this company has no business being in business - they are STEALING my money right out of my bank acct.

The customer service wait is FOREVER, then no one corrects the problem. They have been charging me under the wrong plan since the beginninng (SEPT. 2000) and every month since.
