Z||000000||samstoy||04-23-2001||07:42 PM||samstoys@cs.com||In the early morning hours of June 29, 2000 while getting ready to go to the hospital for the birth of our son, we developed a leak in the roof during a thunderstorm. Once the aduster got here, he could not get up on the steep, high roof and said would allow us $125 to get a roofer to inspect. Our roofer, who asseses damage claims for allstate, found the source of our leak, but also some hail damage and widespread wind damage with large numbers for shingles missing from the ridgetops. The adjuster, Robert Kuban, came back out, said the damage was preexisting, and refused to pay for repair, even though he agreed roof totaled. How can you date when shingles were blown away? Furthermore, state farm then sent letter stating our roof no longer met their qualifications and will not renew in Feb. 2001, unless repaired. So how could it have met qualifications when we took it out in March, 2000. They took pictures when they came out to look at the property and agreed to insure it in March. These picture no longer exist because according to Matt Pryor, underwriter, they dont keep these "unless there is a problem". Obviously, if the damage was preexisting then it did not meet them and they should have denied writing a policy on it. I have had Auto ins. with them for 26 years, and because of this cancelled that. Also I have owned three houses and they had all my insurance. also had hospitalization ins. with them as well as renters ins. and boatowners ins. These people are lying to me and they may be lying to you. Think twice before taking out insurance with State Farm on your home. From my experience, they want your money, but wont pay your legitimate claims. ||65.35.32.190||reg||

I got the best action out of my state farm agent when I stood in his busy office and exclaimed "It makes me shutter to think what would happen to me if I ever had a REAL disaster and I had to depend on you" ||205.185.21.237||reg||

Their client ran a red light , crossed the centerline and crashed into my car head on then ran from the scene and had to caught. State Farm tried convincing me while I was all doped up on pain killers that the accident was my fault because I should have pulled out of their clients way and tried to get me to settle for a pathetic settlment.
